What are the first steps in your countries?

Conclusions of the brainstorming:

The main immediate steps outlined during the discussions suggest two-phases approach, committing of establishing a core-alliance responsible for the campaign, followed by a networking activity on a larger scale.

Basically, first steps should be low cost actions as:

* contacting the organisations sugared to become a interested in the campaign

* Estimating the costs an setting the necessary budget

* Establishing the Internet as the mail accessible mean of communication

Particular actions were outlined as it follows:

* (Romania) organising a meeting with an international guest from Democracy International

* (Yugoslavia) contacting some people which have influence in decision making

* (Belgium) contacting the members of the Convention

A secondary general item would be the identification of the multiplies as:

* Stakeholders, opinion leaders, especially young people

* people with influence on decision making

* Convention members

This groups will be the targets of the campaign, useful in the activity of distributing and publishing the information to the public opinion and for the lobby action.

A general task of Democracy International would be create a common identity of the activists involved in this particular campaign in order to enlarge the movement to a larger, maybe world wide size.

Good atmosphere...

... in vivid sessions we discussed our ideas.
... we were invited by the Ambassador of Switzerland.
... in workshops we focused on the question: How to get active.
