Bremen

Citizens Submission successful

71.261 citizens supported our proposal for a fair election law. For the first time an initiative was able to reach the amount of necessary signatures in the German region (Bundesland) Bremen. Currently, the administration verifies the signatures. We are optimistic that we have gathered required amount of 10% of the electorate (~ 50.000).

Now the parliament can decide to accept the proposal. But this is unlikely. Thus a referendum will be hold together with the election of the Parliament in May 2007.
