Summary

Zdravko is an European Solidarity Corps volunteer taking on the role of Youth Programme Aide for Democracy International’s youth-related projects, notably the semiannual Democracy Camp. He has seven years of experience in project management through his active participation in a Bulgarian NGO under the Europe Direct umbrella, where he gained most of his interest in global politics, Europe, history, and highlighting communities with fewer opportunities.

Biography

Experience and Qualifications:

Worked on Erasmus+, CERV, and Europe for Citizens projects related to European integration in Bulgaria, European history, European institutions, discrimination, and environmentalism
Worked on numerous youth exchange programs as a coordinator and facilitator of events
Done a training for youth leaders on mental health awareness
Has experience leading big groups of people, more specifically as a tour guide

Responsibilities:

Organising and executing youth exchanges such as the Democracy Camp
Coordinating the creation and dissemination of the Youth Participation Handbook
Public relations of the Youth Programme
