On behalf of Democracy International e. V. And the city of Siegburg, we cordially invite you to an evening dedicated to digital participation and democratic participation.
Digitalization is making progress - but how can we actively shape it and make it accessible to everyone? How can digital participation succeed on site, and who can have a say?
The first part is about how digitalization can be shaped democratically and inclusively. Based on the results of the EU-funded project IDEU , in which the city of Siegburg was involved, we present new approaches to digital citizen participation and inclusive digitalization.
In the second part of the evening we will focus specifically on NRW: What digital participation options are already available in the city? Where are the opportunities and what hurdles still exist? Representatives from the area of digitalization provide insights into existing formats and discuss current developments in digital participation.
Together with representatives from the city, civil society and Europe, we discuss: Where are we today – and how can we further develop digitalization and democracy together?
