For three years, a changing young team of two Ukrainian and two German young professionals hosted a series of off- and online exchange for young Europeans on topics such as democracy, sustainability, human rights and Europe.
Ukrainian Vibes is a joint project of Democracy International and its Ukrainian partners National Ecological Centre of Ukraine and Change Communication. Each year and team had a specific focus. All results are collected in a Catalogue of Ideas and have been shared with decision-makers across Europe.
Our topics:
2021: Democracy, Sustainability and environmental consciousness, European integration.
2022: Difficult history and participation, environmental consequences of the war, humanitarian consequences of the war.
2023: European identity, political participation, sustainability.
Our 2021 edition of Ukrainian Vibes has been awarded third place of the European Charlemagne Youth Prize in 2022 for its contribution to pan-European youth dialogue.
