Dome-Talk „What's next for Europe?“

19-09-2017

Looking at recent developments in the European Union, there is much to criticise and much that has already been achieved throughout the European integration process no longer seems self-evident. So what's next for Europe? We invite you to a discussion under the Europe Dome, where we'll touch upon the democratic development and future of the European Union.

The Initiative „European Public Sphere“ wants to create a public space for debates on the future of Europe and invites people with ideas and passion to take part in open forum discussions. The European Public Sphere will be travelling Europe from end of September 2017 with their dome structure.

On the 1st of October, our Dome-Talk will take place in front of the Karlskirche in Vienna, directly after the Pulse of Europe rally on the Karlsplatz. Everyone is invited to participate in the discussions. The folowing speakers will also be present:

  • Nini Tsiklauri, Co-founder of Pulse of Europe in Vienna
  • Fabian Baumgärtner of the Diem25-movement for a democratic Europe
  • Nana Walzer, engaged citizen and co-author of the declaration "Europe – The Human Union“
  • Ines Kanka and Tassilo Seidl-Zellbrugg of IG-EuroVision
  • Daniela Vancic and Caroline Vernaillen of Democracy International

When? 1 Oktober 2017, 15 -17h

Where? Karlsplatz, 1010 Vienna, Austria
