ECI Legal framework - need for reform?!

Democracy International in joint cooperation with the ECI Support Centre, the Initiative and Referendum Institute Europe as well as the European Economic and Social Committee cordially invite to a conference with the aim of assessing the legal framework of the European Citizens' Initiative. The event will take place in Brussels on Wednesday, 10 December 2014.

A line-up of expert speakers, amongst those our board member Bruno Kaufmann, will evaluate the legal basis of ECI rejections so far and explore ways in which to increase the rate of acceptance of future ECI proposals. A networking drinks event will be held after the conference.
